World Information: A description of the normal world of the series. It functions the same way as the normal ARC-V world, but in this world, Duelists not only use the cards for combat, but will enter combat themselves as "Action Riders", their standard Duel Disk also becoming their transformation device known as "Duel Drivers"

Alternate History:

Long ago, there was a world where Action Duelists battled for entertainment. One of the greatest participants was a young man known as Zarc. He sought to help make the people happy with his events, but the audience wanted more. They started to grow more and more bloodthirsty. Even worse, Zarc's dragons that he used in his duels grew more belligerent before being driven by one fear - the fact that one day, he'll lose and someone else will be stronger than him. Driven by those fears, he modified his Duel Driver and combined the power of his dragon cards to become who he called "Kamen Rider Z-ARC", believing that a "Action Rider" is too soft for who he was now.

Standing up to Kamen Rider Z-ARC was a young girl named Ray Akaba. Driven by a strong sense of justice, she sought to battle Kamen Rider Z-ARC to protect their world. Learning that her father, Professor Leo Akaba, had created a special Duel Driver along with four special Spell Cards that harnessed the power of nature known as Natural Energy Cards. Ray stole the Driver and the cards and confronted Z-ARC calling herself "Kamen Rider Akaba". In the massive battle, Ray used the Natural Energy Cards all in one set, the immense power throwing everything into chaos. The end result saw the planet split into four and Zarc and Ray split into four and reborn as different children.

Two of those children would be Yuya Sakaki, a young duelist who sought to become an Action Duelist like his father, one who entertained, and the other was Yuzu Hiiragi, who helped her father run the You Show Duel School. However, she became a great friend to Yuya, who had mysteriously lost his father before an important duel. Years later, when Yuya unwittingly challenged the main who was supposed to duel his father, the resulting battle saw Yuya create a new style of dueling and called himself "Action Rider Pendulum" upon his normal Duel Driver becoming something new. Yuzu would gain the same Duel Driver at the same time and, when Yuya's sudden new popularity drew in droves to You Show, Yuzu introduced herself as "Action Rider Melodious". In the practice battle between Yuya and Yuzu, Yuya's unfamiliarity over his new style lead to Yuzu winning.

Unbeknown to both of them, Yuzu's fluke victory stung Yuya badly, awakening something inside him. Even worse, Yuzu would end up encountering a mysterious boy one day whose combat style was completely different than what she was used to, but his voice and face was almost like Yuya's, shaking her badly. As Yuya dealt with Reiji Akaba, who sought to create his own army of "Action Rider Pendulums" after seeing Yuya in action, a young boy name Sora, who had joined You Show but acted oddly around others, decided to train Yuzu in a new fighting style, especially after her loss to Duel Academy student Masami Kotsu. Gifting her a Polymerization magic card, Yuzu ended up unlocking a new form - Melodious Fusion Form. Yuzu would meet the mysterious boy again along with a second -named Yuto and Syun - while defending Masumi.

Ultimately Yuya and Yuzu would end up participating in the Maiami Championship, challenging up and coming Action Riders. During this tournament, Yuzu would encounter the mysterious boys again and see Sora's true, almost crazed, self as well as watching as Yuya losing himself more and more to his rage and anger.
